Our lawful bases are performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) UK GDPR), our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service (Art. 6(1)(f)), and, where applicable, your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) and compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).
4. AI processing
Uploaded images and derived text are processed by third-party AI vision and language providers to generate vessel classifications, brand matches, valuations and running-cost estimates. These outputs are informational only and should not be relied upon as professional valuations, marine surveys, legal advice or purchasing decisions.
5. Data storage & sub-processors
Personal data, vessel records and images are hosted on our managed backend (Lovable Cloud, backed by Supabase) with database and object storage located in the European Union. Outbound AI calls may be routed to providers whose infrastructure resides in the UK, EU or United States, subject to appropriate transfer safeguards (UK IDTA / EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
