1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and BLUEWATER INTELLIGENCE LTD, a company incorporated in England and Wales (Company No. 17317576), registered office 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX ("we", "us", "our"), governing your use of the BlueWaterMarine.ai website, applications and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

3. AI-generated content

The Service uses machine-learning models to classify vessels, extract text from images, estimate market value and estimate running costs. All such outputs are automated estimates and may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. You should independently verify any figure before making a financial, contractual or safety-related decision. We do not warrant that AI outputs are fit for any particular purpose.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content you do not own or are not licensed to share;
• Upload unlawful, defamatory, obscene or infringing content;
• Reverse-engineer, scrape or attempt to extract our models or datasets;
• Use the Service to build a competing product;
• Interfere with, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service.

5. Data ownership

You retain ownership of the images, notes and corrections you upload. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process and display that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service, and to use aggregated, de-identified signals to train and evaluate our models.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, its underlying software, models, branding, design and content (excluding user-uploaded material) are owned by BLUEWATER INTELLIGENCE LTD or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. No rights are granted to you except as expressly set out in these Terms.

7. Service availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service or any reliance on AI-generated outputs. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to £100 (one hundred pounds sterling).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded by law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account by emailing founder@bluewatermarine.ai. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with them.
